Grand Master Flavio Behring | June 24-26 | Absolute MMA | West Jordan, Utah

Grand Master Flavio Behring, 9th degree and special guest Master Ricardo Murgel, 8th degree will be sharing their experience with us at Absolute MMA, hosted by Professor Robert Handley, 3rd degree on August 24th will be a team workout, starting at 6:00 pm and running until about 9:00 pm. August 25th will be from 10:00 am until about 2:00 pm with techniques and strategy on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu shared by both Grand Master Behring and Master Murgel. August 26th will be an instructor course for Behring USA instructors only.

Pre-registration price will be held until August 18th. $100.00 before August 18th, $135.00 after. Come join us for a fantastic event with great people. This will be an event to remember!

That Grand Master Flavio Behring is one of the featured Red Belts in the new film being produced by BJJ Hacks and Hywel Teague in Brazil right now. "Red Belts" is a tribute film dedicated to the many Jiu Jitsu Grand Masters that have come before us. This is what they had to say about a recent visit by him...

"We’ve had a busy couple of weeks: we flew in GM Flavio Behring from Sao Paulo so that we could include him in the film. he told us some amazing stories about training in the USA in the 1960s(!) that we don’t think anybody has heard before. We’ll likely bring him back for a follow up in the near future to expand upon his experiences in the 60s and 70s."

Skyler Frasier "The Utah Kid" | Absolute MMA | Amateur Mixed Martial Arts

Davis County Fight Night is August 18th! Skyler Frasier will be the main event on this card! Skyler will be fighting Westin Wilson in an amateur Mixed Martial Arts out at the Davis Conference Center in Layton. This will be an exciting bout and one worth watching.

Skyler has been training at Absolute MMA for a while now and has made some really good gains in both his Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. Skyler came to us with a strong wrestling background and has committed himself to furthering his skills and contributing to the Absolute Fight Team. He doesn't miss practice and gives his all while looking for ways to improve himself and those around him.

Come support our newest addition to the Absolute Fight Team, Skyler Frasier, "The Utah Kid!" Fights start at 7 pm at the Davis Conference Center, 1651 north 700 west in Layton, Utah. Tickets are $25.00 general admission and can be purchased at Total Mayhem.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu | Salt Lake City | S7 Tournament

Absolute MMA brought home more medals than team members competed. Again. Our whole team fought hard, did what they knew how to do and listened to our coaches. We had some of our team step up in either a weight division or experience level, or both, including our youngest competitor. We also had a teammate jump into competition after a month of training. We are very proud of our team, what they have done and what they continue to do.
